General- Be polite
This means no fighting in the c-box, respecting staff, not making offensive comments and helping new members. Even if you don't quite see eye to eye with someone, please don't go having fights or causing unneccessary drama. Keep drama in the boards.
- Ask questions
As far as I know, not a lot of people are into multi species RPs so, if you're new, feel free to ask for help. There's a lot of information and sometimes lines get tangled, that's fine. Other members and staff are here to help.
- Best of both worlds
This is a mostly realistic RP. Yes, I know animals don't interact like they will on this site but that's fine, semi-realistic, semi-fantasy. This does mean, however, that most characters won't have unnatural eye colors or unusual markings. I say most because you can purchase shaped markings and unnatural eye colors at the store. There will, however, be no wings, no horns, no dreamwalking or toxic claws, stuff like that isn't going to be on the site.
- Word count
In character posts must be a minimum of 300 words. Apart from that, they can be as long as you want them to be but they must have 300 words.
[/li][li] Images Avatars MUST be 150 x 200. If you need an image sized, feel free to ask. Signatures may be no bigger than 500 x 350. Members may purchase a larger signature at up to 450 x 500 at the site store.

Characters- Limit
As of December 13, 2010, there is no character limit on this site.
- Accounts
With so many different kinds of creatures on the site, I completely understand if people want to have separate accounts. You must, however, inform staff that you will have more than one account AND have a common name between your accounts to use in the C-box.
- Unusual Breeds
If (and I hope you do) read the list of allowed species and breeds, there are some that are in italics. The italics mean these breeds must be purchased at the character store. Reasons may vary and which breeds are on lockdown will also vary. For example, if we have a huge amount of American Quarter Horses, I'll italicize that breed, even though those are quite common. If a breed is particularly rare, like Maned Wolves, they will also be in italics, but only because of their rareness.
- Trackers
Trackers are encouraged, but not required. If you decide to make a tracker, it doesn't matter how many accounts you have, you are limited to one thread. In the character store, members may purchase their own tracker sub-board where you can have as many threads as you would like.
- Names
I know it's tempting when dealing with housecats and stray cats but PLEASE no Warrior-style names, I don't care if you claim their owner is a Warriors fanatic, it's not happening. This rule extends to ALL species. In addition, remember not every animal can have an awesome name. Everybody knows of at least one cat named Smokey or some dog named Jack. Sometimes those "dull" names add a little variety when everyone else has long drawn out names. Also remember, owned horses have two names, a show name and a barn name.
- Breeding
Breeding is going to be kept within species. For example, a hawk is not going to breed with a falcon. It just won't happen. However, you may have canine hybrids without purchasing them from the site store unless we get too many, then it will be required to purchase a mixed litter. The only species I'm particular about breeding age is canines, felines and equines. Female canines (wolves and domestic) will breed safely at 2 years, males the same. Felines, females will breed safely at 2 years, before then there is a chance for complications. Mares will breed safely at 3 years, stallions at 2 years. For birds, I will say the norm is about one year or so.
